This has been a Labour of love and a dedication to care. I’ve been visiting St Mogues Island for a while, documenting and collecting history and stories My first two visits couldn’t have been more different. The first day I visited was the hottest day of the year in that part of Ireland. The second day, the wettest.
Here, Oliver Brady talks about the history of the Island, traditions and customs. We spent the day working with the many volunteers who care and consider this sacred place. Thank you to all of them.
